High Force Falls

Pentax K3 + DA*16-50 f2.8 – ISO100, f9, 1/2s

We made the trip to the falls and I didn’t know what to expect. At the end of the path along to the falls  there was an opportunity to view the falls. The water was loud and the viewpoint was a bit rubbish from a composition point of view. So it was over the fence and down onto the rocks. I liked this composition. I didn’t want to slow the shutter too much and I like to think it has a painterly quality in the water. The sound of the water was fantastic and I manage to avoid getting wet.
